Is anyone closer to fixing the firmware so the ide issue gets fixed ?

Support is on vacation. Developers drunk.

I personally have no problems with IDE.
HDD connected to the PC, that would correct the errors of the old firmware.

No its not fixed !!
I have reformatted 2 new hard drives. The first FAT32 and the second FAT16 .
I can read files written to the hard drive by my PC but if i use fatall or WDC to create a new directory it is corrupted. For example if i make a directory called JMS it displays like JOS"!
I have the latest firmware and the latest rom .
