Hi

I bought it a few years ago and recently rediscovered it and want to use it more

I have the english pdf manual and was wondering about addingg a tubosound fm... Is it just a case of hooking pin to pin as the module i have is too large to fit directly on the board...

I was also wondering about zx bus, i understand it is mostly the same as nemo bus, am i able to use standard zx spectrum external devices with a suitable adaptor? Is there many nemo bus add ons available? Is there a website to purchase or get gerber files to build myself?

Many thanks in advance!

Try this video (you can switch on automatic translated captions), probably it'll help.

Actually Nemo Bus is 'almost' ZX Bus, not counting the reversed slot-edge system. However, there are subtelties. Most advanced cards for ZX Bus (like divMMC or spectranet) simply won't work in Nemo BUS, while the opposite is mostly false (many Nemo BUS cards should work in ZX Bus, like NeoGS or ZXNetUSB).
Some differences that play here the role:
    - the lack of IORQGE (13A) in ZX Spectrum 128k
    - different ROM contents during cold boot. This happens because most Nemo Bus-equipped machines cold boot with TR-DOS ROM (A case for KAY clone) on or even with their custom ROM before jumping back to TR-DOS ROM (like ZS Scorpion and ATM-Turbo do).
The second item here means that a ZX Bus card, prepared to trap (or switch in their own ROM or RAM) on specific ROM addresses accessed by the CPU blindly assumes there was specific ROM working during the trap, while in reality it is not.

Some of Nemo Bus devices built by NedoPC: http://nedopc.com/gs/ngs_eng.php and http://nedopc.com/zxnetusb/zxnetusb.php .
More cards done by independent teams are here http://tetroid.nedopc.com/index.html
